There will be no supplemental harvest during the week of June 8 - 14. This announcement does not change the first opening of the Chitina Subdistrict, which will remain at 12:01 p.m. June 1 through 11:59 p.m. June 7. In addition, this emergency order closes the Chitina Subdistrict Personal Use Dip Net Salmon Fishery to the retention of king salmon for the remainder of the 2009 season. King salmon incidentally taken may not be retained and must be released immediately and returned to the water unharmed.

The ChitinaSubdistrict will be open from 12:01 a.m. Monday June 8 until 11:59 p.m. Sunday June 14. There will be no supplemental harvest during the week of June 8 - 14. This announcement does not change the first opening of the Chitina Subdistrict, which will remain at 12:01 p.m. June 1 through 11:59 p.m. June 7.
